Your Plumbing Supply, one of the entities under the Parmer family of companies, is looking to hire a Full-Time Sales Associate (both inside counter & outside sales) in the Harrisburg vicinity. This is a salary-based plus incentives job. YPS is a plumbing, heating & cooling wholesaler serving plumbers & HVAC contractors.
What you'll be doing:
- Actively service all needs of customers, including sales orders, returns, product/transfer procurement, and providing technical information and printed materials. Communicate with customers regarding the availability of in-stock items and procured non-stock items.
- Reporting on queues and completes and providing follow-up.
- Participate in all activities related to the physical handling of inventory, including receiving, stocking, picking, shipping, delivering and auditing. This will also involve loading and unloading trucks.
- Prioritize and coordinate inventory transfers as needed.
- Open to travel to other branch locations, corporate office, and customer sites.
What you need:
- Minimum 1+ years' experience in wholesale distribution preferred, in addition to sales in a wholesale or retail environment.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record. A company vehicle will be provided during working hours.
- Plumbing and HVAC industry knowledge
- Computer literate (Office Outlook); excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Able to lift up to 70 lbs. and operate material handling equipment (forklift optional.
